As easy as one, two, thr- STOP TALKING WITH YOUR MOUTH FULL!
- 1/2 packet tofu about 300g
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning (if you can't find any then make your own with onion powder, paprika, cayenne and mixed herbs)
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp ground flax
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- a few drops of Maggi liquid seasoning (optional)
Throw the tofu in a bowl and mash with a fork until it’s a crumb. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon. When it’s all incorporated press down with the back of the spoon and leave in the fridge for atleast ten minutes to help the flax bind it together.
Pre-heat the oven to 200°c and line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
Take the burger mix out of the fridge and shape into patties with your hands. You can make them as small or big as you want. You have the POWER.
Stick in the oven for 20 minutes, flipping half way through.
Serve with lots of ketchup and vegan mayo and mustard and guacamole and hummus and relish and chill sauce and every other condiment you can get your hands on!
