Cause we all know there’s a bag of trail mix at the back of your cupboard you’ve been meaning to use for ages. We all know.
- 1 cup trail mix I used Iswari's Incan Trail Mix
- 50g dark chocolate I used Iswari's Mint Kiss raw chocolate
These are like the adult version of Rice Crispy Cakes. Rated 18.
Melt the dark chocolate in a small glass bowl over a pout of boiling water. You can melt it in a microwave too probably, but I don’t own one so I didn’t.
In a small bowl throw in your trail mix (the one I used was from Iswari). Once the chocolate is melted pour it into the trail mix and stir until it’s all covered.
Set up some cupcake holders and using a teaspoon fill the bottom of each cupcake holder with the chocolatey traily mixy mix.
Stick in the fridge to set, or if you are in a hurry to eat them throw in the freezer for faster setting!
Always have one in you handbag/pocket. Don’t blame me for the chocolate stains though, THEY ARE YOUR FAULT.
You can make your own trail mix for this recipe with a mix of nuts (cashews, walnuts, almonds, pecans), raisins, coconut flakes and dried goji berries.
