Banana Bread Choc Chip Cookies

Banana Bread in cookie form to get you in better form.


  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp cacao nibs I used Iswari's coconut sugar coated cacao nibs
  • 1/2 tsp mixed spice
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger


In a big bowl mix the flours and oats together. I made the oat flour in my blender. Add the spices too.

In a blender mix the bananas and sugar until smooth.

Pour the wet into the dry ingredients and stir in the cacao nibs (I used ones from Iswari). Mix well.

Line a baking tray with non-stick baking parchment and heat the oven to 200°c.

Use a spoon to scoop the mix onto the tray. I measured it as a tablespoon per cookie and baked 6 at a time. I used the back of the spoon to spread them out.

Stick in the oven for 15 minutes and let your whole house fill with the glorious scent of banana bread. Ring your Mum to tell her about the smell.

When they’re done stick them on a wire rack to cool.

Eat many.
